Integrating the Product Options/VolumeBoost app with other third party app Have you re-opened your existing closed store containing the Volume Discount App? Have you re-opened your existing closed store containing both the Product Options and Volume Discount Apps? With VolumeBoost (aka Volume & Tiered Discounts) app, you need to integrate your existing theme with the app in order to get started with tiered discounts strategy using our app.. To integrate the theme, you’ll have 3 options: Auto Install Expert Install Manual Install Go to the app dashboard Under Help, Click on Installation and you’ll find the 3 installation options. If you go for Auto Install, the app automatically integrates the theme. If you go for Expert Install, you’ll receive a dedicated support from HulkApps who’ll help you customize your installation process as per your needs. It’s a Premium support. Let us assume you’re using Auto Install Click on Auto Install Select your theme You’re done! VolumeBoost (aka Volume & Tiered Discounts) app offers you with 4 types of discount offers. Please note, these offers are only available to create for PRO members of the app. Product based discount - Lets you create offer based on the products you select. Variant based discount - Lets you create discount offer based on product variant. For eg. If you want to offer for only blue color of a product, then you can select the variant and create the offer. Collection based discount - Lets you create discounts based on collection. Cart based discount - Lets you create discounts based on Cart total With VolumeBoost (aka Volume & Tiered Discounts) app, you can create offers based on 3 discounts patterns. Price Discount - Customers will get a fixed price discount on each product with respect to the quantity mentioned. Fixed Price - If your shoppers are shopping for a quantity you’ve predefined for the offer, then the shopper will receive a fixed discount on each product. % Off - This gives a fixed percentage based discount to the buyer based on the quantity. With VolumeBoost (aka Volume & Tiered Discounts) app, you can also schedule the offers in advance. Here’s how you do it. Create an offer Add price levels Select the offer type Go to Schedule offer and add the date/time you want to schedule you offer on. The app lets you also create a customer tag based offer where you can create offers based on customers. For instance, you want to create an offer for only wholesale customers, so you can add a wholesale tag or whatever suits your requirement within the app & can create a customer tag based discount. Here’s how you do it: Let us assume, we’re creating offer for a wholesale customer. Before creating a customer tag based discount, make sure you’ve added a tag let’s say ‘wholesale’ within the customer’s profile. If not, here’s how you add it: Go to customers Select a wholesale customer Add a ‘wholesale’ tag within the tag section Now. create a new offer Select Price levels Select offer type Go to Customer Tags and add the same tag which you added in the customer’s profile.i.e the ‘wholesale’ tag and hit enter. Now, only the whole customers will be able to see the offer you’ve created. The bulk import/export feature within the app lets you import the offers in bulk via a .csv file and similarly, export the offers created in a .csv format. Here’s where you find this option. Go to the app dashboard With VolumeBoost (aka Volume & Tiered Discounts) app, you can also use the discount codes that you offer to your customers. But, make sure you’ve created a coupon code in your shopify store. Let’s show you the whole process. Add a discount coupon to your store Go to discounts in your store Create a discount by clicking on Create discount Select Discount code Add a discount code You may select below discount types that goes with the app. Percentage Fixed amount Add a discount value that you want to offer as a discount and hit the save button. Go to the app & configure the discount coupon created Go to the app Create an offer or use an existing one where you want to apply the coupon code Go to DISCOUNT CODE BOX SETTING under Display setting Check the box before “Show Discount Code Box On Cart Page” While you check the box, you’ll receive a code that has to be placed within your theme. Placing the code within you theme will let you display the discount coupon on the cart page. Cart Saving Message - It shows your customer how much they saved by the discount they’ve received. Go to the app Create an offer Go to Cart Message Customization under Display Settings Check the box & you’ll find a textbox with a predefined text. That’s a cart saving message that appears to the buyer when they save discounted product to their cart. To show the Cart saving message to the buyer, you need to place one-line code within your theme. You may take help from our support team to place the code, they are happy to help our merchants. Reminder message - Let you users know that they are x quantities away to avail the discount. Here’s how you customize the reminder message. Follow the same process, you’ll find the reminder text exactly below the cart saving message setting in the CART MESSAGE CUSTOMIZATION Customize the text the way you want to display it to the user & save. Here’s where & how you find it: This is something you should never forget checking when you’ve created an offer & want it to get reflected on your product page or cart page. In case, you are using Ajax cart on your theme, we request you to disable the ajax cart functionality and retry. Your price adjustment should now display correctly. Such cases are due to the Ajax cart. All you need to do is disable Ajax cart in order to make your file uploads visible. All discounted prices will always be based on the original price i.e. the selling price, not the previous price tier. Yes, no matter if you create any number of offer discounts on same product. The app will consider the latest offer you created and discount will be applied to the product as per the latest offer. Yes, with the release of PRO Version, PRO users of the app can schedule discount offer as per their preference. Yes, with the release of PRO Version users are now able to add the Customer tags while creating the discount to offer discounts to specific customers. Instructions to configure a Customer tag based discount offer can be found in the Setup Instructions and the FAQ section of the app. Yes, with the release of PRO Version users are now able to set the status (enable/disable) of the discount offer they created in the application. This option can be found while creating the discount offer as well as on the Offers page. Yes, you can surely do that in a few simple clicks. Here’s how you do it: Let's assume that a discount offer has been already created in your store. Now, navigate to Display Settings and look for the Cart Message Customization section. The first option you will observe is Bulk Savings Bar where you can create a message of your own with {{amount}} variable to display on the Cart page where you require. User can customize the look & feel of the Saving bar with these options. Copy the short code. Navigate to the coding of your theme in the Online Store and search for the cart.liquid or cart-template.liquid file and place the code where you need the Savings Bar to be displayed on the Cart page.
