Let us show you how you do it.Let’s get started with embedding a contact form in your store1. Go to the app dashboard 2. Click on New Form under Create a New Form for creating your first form with the Form Builder app. 3. Select the type of form from the Templates. As we’re adding a Contact us form, we’ll select the Contact Us form. 4. Fill in the required form details like Form Details. Set your preferences under rest of these configurations:5.1. Shopify Integration5.2. Mail Integration5.3. Payment Integration5. Similar to the above configuration, you have another set of options to configure when you click on Content. It will allow you to customize the form the way you like. 6. Next is to change the look & feel of the form under Design. When you’re done with these configurations, simply click on Publish. 7. You’ll be redirected to the Form dashboard, all you now need to do is copy the shortcode of the form you created and place it in your theme where you want to display the form. Note:If you already have a form on the page you’re placing the code, there will be 2 forms appearing on the page. In this case, you need to hide the form that is already present. If you’re not able to hide the form, simply contact our support team at support@hulkcode.com, they’re happy to help you all the way.We’ve not made email address fields as compulsory to give you the flexibility to incorporateEdit existing form in 3 simple steps:1. Go to the app dashboard 2. Under Manage Forms, Select My Current Forms or My Draft Forms if you’ve saved your form as a draft. 3. Select the form you want to edit and then click on the 4. Edit icon. Create a copy of form and skip major settings with this step.1. Go to the app dashboard 2. Under Manage Forms, Select My Current Forms or My Draft Forms if you’ve saved your form as a draft. 3. Select the form you want to edit and then click on the Duplicate icon. Users who submit the form can also be notified with a copy of the form results. Add name and Save.You can specify a custom email address that your user can respond to. You can set this under the “Only Show this Element If” option found at the bottom when editing the specified elementThe hidden field is a special input field whose value is sent with a form submission with other fields to the admin. The field itself is not rendered and is invisible in the front-end. In order to use the Hidden element, you should upgrade your plan to Pro version.What is the maximum file upload size?Honestly, we haven’t placed any limit or threshold for file uploads. From our tests, and user feedback, the maximum file size you can upload to Shopify appears to be 10 MB per upload.What types of files can be uploaded?Documents such as .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf. Audio such as .wav, .mp3, .mp4. Video such as .mpg, .mov, .wmv.What is the maximum image upload size?The maximum image size you can upload is 3 MB per upload. The maximum image dimensions that can be uploaded is 2048 x 2048 pixels.Can a visitor upload multiple images at once on a single Upload Image option?Yes, users can upload more than one image by selecting multiple images together using CMD or CTRL key on their keyboard and then selecting the Upload button.Note: Keep unique field names if you are going to use multiple image upload fields in every form.For example: upload image 1, upload image 2What types of images can be uploaded?Image type such as .png, .gif, .jpg can be uploaded.When customers upload images, where do they go?All images or files will reside on our third party server, Amazon AWS. A link is automatically generated to the file location. A downloadable link will appear in the submission section.By default we use {{form title}} on {{date}} at {{time}}. Pro users can select other dynamic values available in Insert Tokens (Pro feature).These settings can be found in the auto-responder tab.Add subject here and press Save.Pro users can add dynamic values in the message box as well.For example: If you want I'm not a robot to say No soy un robot (in Spanish), you can change the Google reCAPTCHA text to another language in the Content > Captcha settings.Add the HTML Element to your form when editing.Click on “Source” in the top left corner.Copy your store’s Privacy Policy or Terms of Use code.Paste it into the HTML Element.Starting June 5th, 2018, we released a Pro version of Form Builder app which will have premium features for a small fee of $10/ month. A trial period of 6 days is available. Basic coding knowledge is required for doing this. Usually, the shortcode is placed before the body tag to display the form in the Contact section.Go to Online Store, under your Theme, Select Edit Code.Sections, Select contact-template.liquid file.Place the shortcode below the tag.You will get a shortcode, something likewhich needs to be copied and pasted in HTML format on any page where you’d like to display your form.Which themes are fully compatible with Form Builder app?We have not charged any extra fees for installing, and sometimes even customizing the app to help our merchants. However, if the merchant has a more unique request that requires custom coding, then we are happy to assist you for an additional charge.What happens when I uninstall the app after using it for a while?We deeply regret you leaving us. Unfortunately, data available in the app will be lost forever within 48 hours of uninstallation due to Shopify’s General Data Protection Regulation Policy. There is no backup once you remove the app from your store and there is no way we can help you. We request you to kindly export your submissions before you uninstall the app.HulkApps Form Builder App has UTM tracking capabilities, a marketing tool feature to help you monitor traffic sources to your forms. Implementing this capability requires adding information to the form page’s URL.This information is a code snippet known as UTM in the page URL, making it easy to understand the traffic source. These code snippets reveal various parameters that encompass source, medium, term, content, and campaign.The parameters you can track include source, medium, term, content, and campaign. If you’d like to track responders coming from Facebook, you can use values like &utm_source=facebook Note: UTM tracking is available only for Pro Plan users.Activate UTM tracking in a FormTo get started, go to the Form Builder dashboard.Create a new form or use an existing form. Use the shortcode to embed in your preferred location to publish, i.e., your website page, Instagram, and anywhere you prefer.Now, fetch your page URL.Add “utm_source=XXXXX&utm_medium=XXXXX” to the URL of the page with the form. (Note: you may add all five parameters i.e., source, medium, term, content, and campaign).If any parent URL has utm parameters, it would look something like this:https://yourwebsite/pages/contact-form/?utm_medium=test&utm_source=testPaste the link where you plan on using it and replace the XXXXX strings with the values you want to use.UTM Source and UTM Term vary by location.If it is Instagram, fetch the link of your form and add the above URL with the code snippet.Connect it now.Check these values both in the Form Builder app and in Google Analytics reports.For your better understanding see the listing of the parametersCampaign Source - utm_source - a term that is used to refer to a search engine, a newsletter, or another source. (e.g Google)Campaign Term - utm_term - utilized in paid search. Utilize utm term to record the ad's keywords. (e.g bike+tires)Campaign Medium - utm_medium - Term used to refer to a certain media, such as email or cost-per-click. (e.g cpc)Campaign Content - utm_content - Ads that are content-targeted and used for A/B testing. Utilize utm content to distinguish between advertisements and links that point to the same URL. (e.g logolink)Campaign ID - utm_campaign - This field is used to indicate which advertising campaign this reference refers to. Utilize utm id to identify a particular advertisement campaign. (Abd.123)Form Builder gives you the ability to view traffic source with UTM tracking Tracking details are also available in Google Analytics report, however it’s made more convenient to gain insights on the marketing performance of your form in form’s submission detailsYou can easily export utm parameters to track traffic in your forms.If you have a Pro plan, you can share your form with parent URL combined with UTM values to the destination and store values in our form details.Navigate to existing formsClick on Responses TabView any responseSimilarly, if you add “utm_source=&utm_medium=” to your Instagram link, it looks like this,https://yourwebsite/pages/form-builder-form?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=emailThis is what you get after the form submission is received.Your form results are saved within the app as well as on your notification email.You can also check for the attachments on your email.Please don’t forget to Export your form submission details before attempting to uninstall our app. We can retrieve back your data until 48 hours of uninstall. If you reinstall the app, the data will not be added back automatically. You can recover the lost records by contacting our customer support team within 48 hours.In order to add a custom sending domain, you must have a Pro account. If you haven’t, please upgrade your plan. Pro version comes with a 6 days free trial.Please go to the Sending Domain Settings under Integrations1. Our Form Builder App is GDPR compliant. 2. Each form has a unique short-code regardless how many times you make updates or changes to it. Just paste the code once. 3. Each Form Element name must be unique. 4. Every time a user Creates/edits a form, then it will be freezed for a minute as we are changing the form functionality from Static to Dynamic. 5. Never use an apostrophe ( ' ) character punctuation mark in the form's fields. Example 6. Use a Line Break Element to separate sections in your form. To add a message box, choose the Paragraph Text Element and specify the max characters allowed in the input. 7. Discard unused field Elements to avoid any errors in saving the form. 8. Ensure all the selected Elements contain Values and are not left blank. Otherwise, you will face an error: Provide all required data . 9. To display your Auto Responder message don't forget to check on this box. Example 10. File Upload Element allows 1-file to be uploaded, in any format. To use this Element multiple times, just give unique Field Names for each file upload field. 11. Image Upload Element allows multiple images uploading at once. Press CTRL or CMD key to select images. 12. Use a Single Line Text Element for requesting Contact Numbers from your website visitors. 13. Use a Spacer Element in between 2 half-width fields to create an easier to use layout. 14. In order to receive email notifications on any form submissions, check this box. Example 15. Use Label Element to add headings. 16. After saving your form, paste the code to the HTML format in the Content area. Example 17. To never miss notifications, we recommend testing responses with your main notification email and another alternate as a a backup. 18. Contact your service provider in case you are not getting notification on the desired email address. Usually it's because of Policy set filters within an organization. 19. The default email will be populated for Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, in case of a blank response to an E-mail Field. However, the same is not true for Help desk software like systems like Zendesk, FreshDesko, Zoho, etc. 20. We support 'jpg', 'jpeg', 'png' and 'svg' files for Image Upload.Moving a field in Form Builder is an easy process. Simply follow these steps:1. Go to the app dashboard 2. If you’ve already created the form & want to tweak it a little, then navigate to Manage Forms > My Current Forms or click on Customize Form under My Current Form on the dashboard. 3. It’ll take you to the form collection page, where all the forms you created are listed. Click on edit icon on the form you want to update 4. Next is to modify the form fields. So, directly move to step#2 i.e CONTENT. 5. Click on Form Elements and you’ll find a list of fields used in our form. 6.Now, simply click on a two-ended arrow icon and drag the field & place it wherever you want to display it in the form. 7. Click on Save We would like to clarify that currently our app isn't capable of passing the address field's data submitted in the form to MailChimp/Klaviyo. This issue will surely be taken care of in future app updates.The mail service you are using might not be supported by the mailing services that we are using for sending you notifications. Please create a mail address with Gmail, YMail!, Outlook, AOL, etc.Please make sure your email service provider has not rejected your email due to Policy or due to Security reasons. You could double-check your spam folder. We also request you to test with an alternate email. Kindly contact our support team with your Shopify store URL so we can check on our server for the exact reason for rejection.When using the Form Builder application in Safari, you will have to make sure to enable 3rd party cookies from your cookie setting.If a webpage redirects too many times, it might have been set up in a way that is causing a redirect loop. The issue might also relate to outdated redirect information in your browser cache or cookies. To find out:/p>In your Safari browser:Choose Safari > Preferences from the Safari menu bar.Click the Privacy icon.Click Manage Website Data.Click 'Remove All' to remove stored data for every website you've visited in Safari.Click Done, then close Safari preferences.Now, theuser will be redirected to Store login page.
